Taking Root awarded The City of Wyoming $2000 for the ecological endeavors. The City of Wyoming planted 24 trees, reforested 3 acres, and cleared 3 acres of non native plant species. Wyoming continues efforts to plant native trees in Stearns Woods, which was recently cleared of invasive species.
